The short version: We don't collect anything. Your data stays on your device.

What Jam stores

All data is stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage API:

• Your jammed tabs (URLs, titles, favicons)
• Your sidebar organization and groups
• Your layout and theme preferences

What Jam doesn't do

• No data is sent to any server
• No analytics or tracking of any kind
• No accounts or sign-ups required
• No third-party services
• No cookies

Permissions explained

Jam requests only the minimum permissions needed:

• tabs – To capture and restore your tabs
• storage – To save your jammed tabs locally

Data export

You can export all your data anytime using the Export feature. The exported file is a standard JSON file you can read, backup, or import elsewhere.

Uninstalling

When you uninstall Jam, all locally stored data is automatically deleted by the browser.
